Yes sir :)

This weekend in potters class we started off with a debate everyday about various topics dealing with the treatment and discrimination of gays. the debates ranged from treatment of gays in the military, in families in the army and at church. My group was about the church, and how people wernt allowed into the church because of their sexual preference. in my mind i think that this is completely wrong! a church should never be able to deny someone the able to listen to their teachings. next we started a new unit about mistery and theirs no one who can read a mystery than potter himself and then we watched a movie friday or atleast the beginning of the movie, and it was good, that movie movie was when a stranger calls. jeeze machine

what a week??? very interesting, very interesting indeed! this week in potters class we watched videos and read stories about two terrible events in history both events in which people lost their basic human rights all because of their ethic background or religion. The jewish people who were envolved in the holocaust without a doubt have experienced such things that no one should ever have to. These innocent people were killed and tortured and worked to death, truly an awful state. the movie we watched about it showed how a father did all he could to protect the live of his son, in the end the man dies but the son lives on and tells his story of his father who saved his life. The japanese who were also persecuted were not treated as harshly but i can not say that they were "free". in the land of the free which was where all these people were stationed, they were forcd to leave their homes and sell most of their belongings and then were forced to live in litle vilages without proper care for them. All of this happened because of the bombing of pearl harbor. its quite awful to think about these horrible events but forgetting about them would be disgraceful!
