Hey its me again mr. hate desales <3. This week in Mr. Poters class were like uh starting to read this book to kill a mocking bird. At first when i read this book i hated it as much as i hated desales........but ya know it has really grown on me like a win over the purple stallions. Although it seems like the book has just begun it seems like a no brainer to me, that this element of literature is like an overtime win against the Desales.
You may hbe reading this and thinking to your self why so much anti-desales? the answer to your very immature question is that they broke my herat last year.......Although i played freshmen football and we WON :) they got reall cocky, and by they i mean varsity and jv, they won :(, and they think their greatest and there really not!
But anyways we turned our persuasive essays in this week, and mine was over the body paint controversy. You may think it isnt that big a deal but it really it, considering it is something the student section does every year no matter what sport it is. And with that being said i dont want to lose my privaledge of being able to paint my body.
FUNNY BUT NOT
it's funny how hello is always accompanied with goodbye
it's funny how good memories can start to make you cry
it's funny how forever never seems to last
it's funny how much you'd lose if you forgot about your past
it's funny how “friends” can just leave when you are down
it's funny how when you need someone they never are around
it's funny how people change and think they're so much better
it's funny how many lies are packed into one “love letter”
it's funny how one night can contain so much regret
it's funny how you can forgive but not forget
it's funny how ironic life turns out to be
but the funniest part of all, is none of thats funny to me

this poetry is rather touching because the author says that all these things are funny, when we actually no that they really arnt :(
again man i agree with every thing you say about this stuff. exspecialey the bodypaint cause now i wont be able to see #72 painted on another body. :( but it is what it is. but guess what makes me happy . we beet desales. we smashed the poneys. We pooped on the purple people eaters.
ReplyDeletelols tommy your a classy fella
ReplyDeletehahaha i dont get why you hate desales soo much!
ReplyDeleteI agree with your stance on the body paint rule. It doesn't reflect poorly on the school...because every school does it. It's a fun excuse to dress like a ____ (insert degrading term usually directed towards females) and take your shirt off (for guys).
ReplyDeletei like your post mochma !! I love how you put desailes in everything you say haha (: and this book has grown on me as well
ReplyDeleteif only everyone could see this side of you luke, the caring side, that has valid viewpoints on literature and social issues. this is the luke mokma i was waiting for.
ReplyDeleteThis is the Luke Mokma that has always been there...and Mokma, you can still paint your body...just wear clothes as well. Or paint your clothes.
