ehhhh

In the potters class this week we finished the most boring play ever.....Julius caesar.
it was so boring, no lie, i hated reading to begin with but this mad me hate it even more with the tough wording and stupid people doing stupid things. To start off with, alot of people killed themselevs, and the one man who was the  most powerful man in the world was killed by his best friend...this story is truly messed up and i am glad it is done...but however i do think mr potter for stopping every now and again to explain it to us! thank you very much :)

saturday?

so its been a rough day my fellow americans but i will cast my own julius caesar movie.

Caesar- Samuel L. Jackson
Antony- Dwayne Johnson
Cassius- Steven Segal
Casca- Kid Rock
Brutus- Morgan Freeman
Cleopatra- Keenan Thompson
Portia- Beyonce
Calpurnia- 50 cent

although this movie is probably set up for disaster this movie would win five golden globes and probably best supporting actressss....this movie will be so good. But anyways in potters class this shortened week we basically read every the play. the play is very hard to read and understand and im not much into plays and what not. and i think that this play is rather not interesting, and i wouldnt say its my favorite or close to my favorite, but i do understand it with the help of mr. potter who clarifies everything so we do well on tests and quizzes.

The blazin boys!

THE BLAZIN BOYSSSSS! haha, those are some classy fellas, the type of people you meet and your like wow.....im speechless... that however is not like the people that we have been introduced to in julius caesar. Those type of people are genuine back stabbers! brutus who is julius's best friend is meeting with cassius and the other people of the government to overthrow caesar by having a stabbing party on his body! thats so mean :(. its just kind of ridiculous that your best friend is the one who sabotages your whole life, but givin you the old stab in the back. man o man o man!
Julius caesar is a monster, the type of person today would be leading a countrty, the type of person who is a natural born leader, a man of which everyone loves, not a man of which you think there best friend would take the life of.......back stabbing is wrong

Bud Not Buddy

Dear Reader,
The book I read is a very sad book at the beginning, mixed in with a lot of flips and twists resulting in a happy ending. The book is about Bud Caldwell, a man who has lost a lot but still looks to gain plenty. Bud at the beginning of the story is in a foster home because his mom had just died a few years back. He has been adopted very numerous times and always ends up in the place he began, the home. Until one time he escapes from the home and goes off looking for his father, as he takes off to find his father he stumbles upon a man who is known as “Lefty” Lewis. He takes Bud all the way to Grand Rapids to see his father, and in the end the man who he thought was his father was actually his grandpa.
My theme for this blog is revolved around determination. I believe that being determined towards something is very important. In the book “Bud not Buddy”, Bud does not have a lot going for him, but yet keeps a goal in his head to find the man who he believes is his father.  Bud has never seen this man in person, nor has he ever talked to him before but stays determined to finally meet him, and figure out that they are related. Bud inspires me greatly, to reach for my dreams because our goals much like Buds, started off little and got bigger and bigger as we worked harder towards them. I hope this inspires others as well to keep hope and finish what you started.
I represent my theme of determination, in this blog in several ways. First being a day in the life…showing the point of view of Bud Caldwell as he goes through a regular day. Second, being an obituary of Janet Caldwell, Bud’s mother who died when he was very young, and was left with nothing. Third, is the making of a family tree for bud Caldwell, who really has no family except his mother, and the person he believes is his father. And other than that he is alone. Lastly, I will show my theme in ten good reasons to be motivated and stay motivated.

“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.”
-Gail Devers

A day in the life of Bud Caldwell....

I woke up under my tree by the library; I checked my suitcase to make sure that all my treasures were there. And when I found that they were all in the right spot I let out a sigh of relief. I then got out from under the tree and headed towards the soup kitchen. I was hoping I wasn’t late, but I probably was, I’d slept for what seemed like forever!
As I approached the line heading towards the soup kitchen I found out I was too late. And right then and there I realized I needed to find Herman E. Calloway, the man who must be my father. I ended up meeting a family that let me go inside with them. I ate with them and thanked them graciously after the meal. Afterwards I headed towards the library to get directions towards Grand Rapids. It was gonna be a busy night, but sometime tomorrow i would be meeting my father!

Obituary

Today in God’s name rests Angel Janet Caldwell, the mother of Bud Caldwell. She was a beautiful woman who was always there for bud when she was not at work. She brought many happy times to that young man, and many unforgettable memories. Even though Bud is her only Kin she will be missed by those she embraced.

3. Can earn you respect
4. Helps you enjoy greater success
5. Feel in charge of your life
6. Puts an end to regrets
7. Do what you want

I chose the genres for this blog for many different reasons. First I chose the day in the life of, because I thought it was important to give you an idea of what Bud experiences, without having anyone care for him, and having nowhere to go for shelter and also the troubles he has to go to get food, but yet is till motivated to find his father. Secondly, the obituary, showing that Bud after the death of his mother, is left to fend for himself, and with nowhere to go, he sets off looking for the man who he thinks is his father, without ever seeing him before. Thirdly, the family I chose to portray the loneliness of bud having no family members to go to, but yet still seeks out to find the man who he believes is his father. And lastly the ten good reasons to be determined, I thought were important, because when you are determined, you are motivated to accomplish something, and in this case Bud did, he found out the man who he thought was his father was actually his grandpa.

achievements?

so when it comes to my greatest achievement, thats a very tough question to answer. not that im a man who has alot, but rather not so many. However i would have to say one of my best so far was beating desales in football freshman year. i didnt play last year otherwise id be 2-0 against them stallions! some other great achievements, include when my eighth grade football team went 7-0, and unscored upon! yeah thats right no points allowed! we were 259-0 when it came to scoring and the closest game was by atleast 22 points. Another thing that i would like to call an achievement, was that for jv football last year i constructed my own student section, and went to every game to cheer for my own desire. man those were the days, but i really miss bein on the field, so now its time to come back. someother notable achievements could include making it through middle school and elementary school. man did those schools suck......i mean chapelfield was alright, but just thinking abt it now everyday just seemed so much longer than they do now! and then middle school, some might say i was the king of west hahaha jk, but i mean there were alot of good times there, alot of good times ill never forget. But all in all im in high school now, and im growing up....alot faster than id like to, and with growing up, also has alot of achievements still to come!

The Hole in the Sky

The Hole in the Sky
The night was endless; the sky was darker than anything you could ever imagine. The rain poured down all day, everyday much like that of water from a pitcher. Nothing in this city was ever dry, the walk ways, the stepping stones, and the outsides of the shacks in which the people lived. They are wet as the night is dark. The shacks or the huts in which the people lived consisted of a bed for everyone on the family, a closet and a kitchen. The shacks were twenty feet wide and the same length long, while having a ten foot high ceiling. This place was their only means of escape.
In this city of Ausenhooke, which wasn’t much of a city at all, consisted solely of walkways and a river that flowed around it and in it providing another means of transportation. The city resembled a much modern day Italy, aside from the humongous dam that surrounded its city which provided its only means of power, and also served as a wall to keep the people in. The dam was not controlled by people, but rather by the elite robots that controlled the city. The knick name for these robots was “Potters Elite”. And aside from that, the only job that that the people of this small city could obtain was that of one in a factory. Women worked in one factory, and men in another, separating sexes. But there was one thing about this city that made it different from any other was that above the city, beyond the clouds but still within seeing distance was a small hole. Some believed it was the answer to all their troubles, others believed it was where you went after you passed, however; no one is ever able to obtain entrance.
The city consists of many different families, but is not overpopulated. This is because when people thirty, they seem to disappear, whether they are kidnapped or dead no one knows for sure. One family is the Krause’s, which consists of Sophia who is 29, Jordan and Rodrik both of which are 25. Their parents disappeared right after their births, and no one could ever explain it.
“I don’t have much longer to live.” Announced Sophia, as she paced back and forth.
“None of us do Sophia, our lives are controlled by those menacing robots, and there is no way around them.” Said Rodrik.
“There is no way to escape this hell hole, the dam surrounds us and the sky’s the limit.” Said Sophia angrily.
“The sky is not the limit! Have you not seen the hole over our heads?” interrupted Jordan.
“The hole is a long shot Jordan, Sophia and I both know that. Besides that’s way too high for us to get to even if we do build something.” Announced Rodrik.
As the three of them pondered the thought of creating something high enough to escape, there is a knock at the door.
“Good morning neighbors, I have a package for you, it was dated for today and it’s from your parents!” Shouted Cal, as he entered the room.
“What is it Cal?”Said Sophia in curiosity. “
“It seems to be some kind of code Sophia, I Have no idea what it means. Maybe you’ll do better than I did. But it’s entitled Sophia 30th birthday.” Said Cal.
“Hey, it has been nice seeing you Cal but Jordan and I are about to go for a run!” Exclaimed Rodrik as they but took off running out of the room.
Cal waved goodbye, and Sophia blew a kiss they watched the two men leave. They then turned their attention to the code laid out before them. Their bewildered minds only looked in confusion as they realized the code was made of up letters from other languages. And as they looked towards the bottom of the code, they found out that they needed to check every building the city for a clue, and when they collect all the clues the message will be clear.
“This has to be some kind of prank cal!”
“I’m afraid not Sophia, this is the same letter that your parents got when they disappeared. We desperately need to figure this out, because both of us do not have much longer to live.”
As Cal left, and said her goodbyes, Sophia was left to decide her fate on whether she would crack the code or live the rest of her life in wonder.
When Sophia’s brothers got home from their run, she greeted them with dinner and they all spent the rest of the night talking about the code. Something that would bring amongst great argument, but ended in agreement. They needed to crack the code.
The next few months Sophia and her brothers spent searching every building in the city. Not many buildings allowed access, so they had to maneuver past Potters Elite to gather clues. And as they began to gather more clues, they began to be able to make out the code until finally it was complete. It read “SAY TO THE GARGOYLE BY THE CITY LIBRARY, THAT THE TIME HAS COME TO DRIFT AWAY”.
“We must do this at once!” Exclaimed Sophia, as she collapsed on the floor unconscious.
“You know Jordan, we can use the message to escape right now.”
                “What about Sophia?” Questioned Jordan.
“What about her? We don’t need her! We have what we want, now let us leave this world!” Exclaimed Rodrik.
“Rodrik, we can’t do this! We can’t leave our sister!”
“Well then, I don’t need you!” Yelled Rodik as he pulled out a knife and stabbed his brother to death.
The body was dropped in the river surrounding the city, and a metal chair was attached to the body. Rodrik then grabbed the message and wandered on down to the library where he found the gargoyle. He then said the message to the gargoyle, and it told him to jump on.  As Rodrik jumped on the gargoyle took off going upwards towards the hole, approaching it with every flap of its wings. Until, not only it and Rodrik were on the surface above. This world was full of everything that a person could ever wish for, everything that is except for his own flesh and blood.
As the hours passed, and Sophia arose from an almost endless slumber, she awoke an empty room with nothing in it except her.
“Hello?” Spoke Sophia in fear. As she gets up she realizes that the code was stolen, but that meant nothing to her for she had memorized the message. She then took off towards the library and found that there was no gargoyle to be seen. With fear in her eyes and tears strolling down her cheeks, she collapsed once more. She eventually regained the composure, and got back up. She completed the rest of her life in complete silence.
Sophia died 28 days later, it was her 30th birthday.

so sick of love songs

any body else so sick of love songs? i know i am just like desales....i mean cmon so obnoxious. but anyways in potters class we watched a movie called war games. this movie is the complete package, i mean honestly it really is. Matthew broderick = complete monster, even though he looked kind of scruby id kiss him...ya know? and then there was like there really hot chick in the movie to...actually she was cute but like idk, there somethin missing. But anyways the movie was about a robot named joshua, he was more of a computer however and he had alot of power. This computer always played games with its creators, and it was designed never to lose, so when the character challenged it global thermal nuclear war, it was realistic, and it put the whole world in grave danger. but to cut this story short the main characters have to find the creator of this mad device.... this story ties into our research over fantasy and science fiction. we also had a test/ final over both of these things and over the stories we read. in all honesty im not very entertained with these two subjects....i dont like reading stories at all

time?

I feel like time is a big dilemma that affects us all, with the matter of are we wasting it or not. i feel in someone ways you truly can waste time based on your beliefs, such as if you were a christian, you are on the world only once so you need to make the most out of it, and i believe this is understandable. but in other religions people believe in reincarnation where you come back to life in a different shape or form.  so depending on which you believe, you can be wasting time or not, but in my opinion if your doing something fun with the ones you love, then your not wasting your time! so if you watch a movie over and over again your not wasting your time if this a movie you take great pride in, and it gives you the giggles and it makes you smile :), and something else that might include not wasting your time is a W over them stallions....that always brings a smile to my face!

So this week in the potters class, we read what seemed to be a countless number of stories :(, in my opinion i didnt like any of them, im not much of a fantasy man myself, but i had suffer through it. one story was called the wall around the world, when i read this story, i would daze out every now and again and just think abt flying a dragon to chuckee chesses........and then i would tune back in and realize i had like 10 pages still to read.....ehhhhhhhhhhhh no fun..... all in all, i just dont appreciate reading like i should, but idk if it is possible for me to do so

oh brother where are tho?

This movie is my fav :), its like eating ice cream and watching blues clues, but anyways growing up and still growing up i have three brothers and one sister. Two older brothers named jake, and kyle. ky ky is what i call kyle, he is my bubby. jake is the quiet guy, and with these fellas ive had alot of memories. We use to always play in my grandmas pool, and we would all have the little floaties, and it was the cutest thing ever! along with that me and ky would play gundams together for hours, until it was time for bed! me and jake on the other hand would play video games all day, mostly sports games and we would create the best dynasties.
Me and joey and kessie, are a way different story however. I dont like them very much haha, they are so annoying, and i just wanna hit them with a shovel.....just saying. but i mean ive had some good memories, mostly when they were younger and id hold them in a chair and i felt like a big kid! Still today however, me and family all siblings when there is enough snow, we go power sledding, which is when you attach sleds to the back of a car and they pull it around!
Its times like this that ill never forget....just like beating desales :) lololololol...i miss big tom brown toooo!

cartoons?

cartoons are just a way of life, they are fantastic picture images that remind us of our child....very quality. :) so just start off my favorite cartoon has always been tom and jerry, i mean honestly what a show! who knew watching a cat and a mouse and the ocassional dog, bird or whatever animal they can find chase eachother around woulld be so much fun! Another show that always brought happiness to my life was courage the cowardly dog, this dog has got balls, he saves his  mother (dont remember her name) from any situation, he always comes out on top cause hes a monster, although he has those big holes in his teeth he would take a bullet for her anyday. "the things i do for love" - courage. So continuing on, another cartoon i always loved was recess, this show was as intense as a rocky movie, i mean these kids come up with the craziest ideas and always find a way to execute them! lololololololol i wish i would do that in highschool! OH YEAH! transformers! i like to think abt it this way the auto bots are gahanna, and the decepticons are desales.....lololololol auto bots always win! god i love a good cartton :), but i think the cartoons today are way to scary, because i was watching this show called chowder, and this show i just dont understand? everyone has soup names? i mean i dig that part but i still just dont know? and furthermore, there was this show called code lyoko, this show is complete garbage...me and my whole family use to watch it during dinner time and we would all make fun of it! never watch it!

code lyoko theme song.....lolololololololololololol

gme time

eh its been awhile :(, forgot to do a blog :( but oh well haha, hows everyone been? great you say? me :) lol nothing like a good win against desales! but anyways in the potters class we've been reading this story abt a monkeys paw.....it was interesting and had a very good point to it showing that fate never wins. this stroy is abt a family who comes in contact with a cursed monkey paw that grants three wishes, the family who was in need of money, wished for the money as there first wish. they soon came to find out that they would get the money but at the cost of their son who is killed. there second wish is for their to come back to life, this in my mind is a stupid wish because when they saw there son after he was killed he was unrecognizable. so when they realize that there wish was a bad idea they wish he was dead again because if he would have returned he would be in some sort of zombie form....pretty creepy... And after we finished that, we watched a movie and this movie was creepy. its about bets and this guy bets a man a car for his left pinky finger....pretty odd thing to bet but this guy has alot of fingers....from wiining so much. but while the bet is taking place, it is inturupted when the mans wife comes in and makes it come to an end so no one goes home empty handed....lols, but its funny cause the wife only has one finer on her left hand the pinky...god bless america and beat desales
